FAQ

Is this a joke?

No. We are deadly serious about our goal to make a Thing.

Is this real?

Yes, but only for things that are real.

What is a Thing?

We will be engaging in active research and development to determine and curate an ever-growing catalogue of what is and is not, in fact, a Thing.

While no doctorate officially exists for the field of Thing study (or ‘Thingology,’ if you’ll pardon the nomenclature), Chmaj & Lyle consider themselves experts in this new and exciting field.

They approach all individual Things with a top-secret proprietary R&D system, and engage in rigorous peer review between each other to prevent any risk of bias or debasement of the scientific process.

How can I find out if Something is a Thing?

Eventually this site and attached subsidiaries will create a ‘Thing Nexus’ from which you can see for yourself what is a Thing as determined by Chmaj & Lyles’ (patent-pending) miracle process.

How do Chmaj & Lyle make a Thing?

All things are different, and each of them requires special labor and costs to generate. Over the course of our journey, we will explore many Things, and will document our efforts in research and development for free public use for generations to come.

You said something is not a Thing but it is!

Once again, Chmaj & Lyle are merely humble self-proclaimed master-tradesmen professors in Thingology. If you disagree with the determinations or results published on this site, you are welcome to pursue an alternate source as your destination for all Things. That’s what makes the internet the greatest nation on earth.
